Spam Filters in Cloud Hosting
The protection of any mailbox that you create under a cloud hosting account with us is guaranteed by the powerful SpamAssassin email filter that we use. You can activate it through the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel and it comes with 5 levels of safety based on the spam score it gives to each and every message in accordance with different criteria, such as the frequency of certain words and phrases, the sender, etc. If you keep receiving spam messages, you can always raise the level or if you are scared that you may skip a legitimate email, you can combine the automated email filter with a custom one and redirect all messages from a certain sender to a different email account. In case you reach the decision that you no longer require an email filter for a given email account, you can disable it with only a couple of clicks of the mouse.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Servers
If you use one of our semi-dedicated plans, you will not have to worry about unsolicited bulk email messages occupying your mailboxes every now and then, as you can resort to the popular SpamAssassin filter that we provide with each semi-dedicated server account. Our in-house developed Hepsia Control Panel will allow you to enable the filter for any mailbox with a few clicks of the mouse and you can choose any of the 5 security levels – from very high to very low. The level can be changed at any time if, for instance, genuine emails get filtered, or if spam messages go through and reach your Inbox folder. To take no chances, you can choose all filtered email messages to be delivered to a special email account such as email@example.com and not to be deleted. Thus, you can check them every now and then to ensure that you haven’t missed a genuine email message.
